The Day Pass is for those who live nearby and want a change of air without travelling: arrive at nine, tour the hacienda with someone from the house, swim, eat well and head back in the afternoon.
It is also the plan for anyone passing through Mérida who wants to see a real henequen hacienda, with its chapel, its 1870 house and its cactus garden, without staying the night.

- Someone from the house walks you through the hacienda and tells its story: the chapel, the main house, the henequen machinery and the gardens.

- Use of the pools all day, with loungers and shade among the greenery.
- Towels and cold drinks
- Pool towels and the day's aguas frescas, included in the pass.
- The gardens
- Eighty hectares to walk: the grove, the cactus garden and the lawn facing the red façade.

Cocina de la Hacienda prepares breakfast, snacks, lunch or dinner. The menu is chosen when booking and is the same for the whole group, because everything is cooked fresh that day.

Before you come
- Outside food and alcoholic drinks are not allowed; if you bring your own bottle, corkage applies.
- Capacity is twelve people, so it is worth booking your date early.
- Every service is by prior reservation and advance payment, subject to availability.
- For larger groups or celebrations the whole hacienda can be booked: ask about events.

The hacienda is in Tixkokob, 23 kilometres from Mérida by road, and the Tren Maya station is 300 metres from the entrance.

- How much does the Day Pass cost?
- The rate depends on the season and the meal service you choose. Write to us with your date and number of guests and we will confirm the current rate along with the available menus.
- What are the hours?
- From nine in the morning to five in the afternoon. Arriving early is worth it: the guided tour happens before lunch and the afternoon is for the pool.
- How many people can come?
- The pass takes up to twelve people. For larger groups the whole hacienda can be booked; write to us and we will prepare a proposal.
- Do I need to book in advance?
- Yes. The Day Pass requires a prior reservation and advance payment, and the menu is chosen when booking because everything is cooked fresh that day.
- Can I bring my own food or drinks?
- Food, no. As for drinks, the hacienda serves beer and mixers; if you prefer to bring your own bottle, corkage is $200 pesos per bottle.
- Can I come only to eat, without using the pool?
- Yes. Cocina de la Hacienda also serves breakfast, lunch and dinner on their own, with a prior reservation.
- Can I arrive by Tren Maya?
- Yes. The station is 300 metres from the hacienda entrance, so you can come from Mérida without a car.
