The house
The Main House is the 1870 building that gives the hacienda its name: the colonnaded arcade, the high ceilings and the original tiled floor nobody has wanted to replace. It holds three rooms in total, so staying here means sleeping inside the house, not beside it.
This is the most intimate of the three. Designed for two, it keeps period furniture restored piece by piece. Step out of the room and you are on the arcade, looking at the century-old ceiba and the lawn where the afternoon settles.
